'Stories from the Seven' is a book aimed at teenagers, which highlights the story of Bhishma Asare. The five stories which are written, cover themes which are relevant to young people in today’s society, including: knife crime, gang violence, trusting teachers, friendships which appear to be true but are really deceiving, police altercations and racism, being aware of surroundings and peer pressure. 
 
All of the stories are non-fiction, which talk about Asare’s life between the ages of 12 years old and 17. The book is accompanied by comic style images which complement the stories. All of the stories have key teaching points for young people, which is highlighted in the ‘message for the young readers’ after each story. These messages highlight how they can learn through the lens of an older Bhishma Asare, and what he would have done differently; giving them an insight into how they can tackle similar situations, that they may find themselves in.
